Information On Vest Sizes: Please note that the 3rd Space Vest is highly adjustable in terms of fit and two sizes are available to accommodate almost any variation in body size. The goal is to have the vest fit as snug as is comfortable for the user - the snugger the fit, the better and more realistic the effects will feel. You should also note that vest sizes DO NOT CORRESPOND TO SHIRT SIZE! The size designations refer to the size of the fabric panels used for the front and back of the vest. The actual fit/ circumference of the vest is maintained by the chest and abdominal straps. It is essentially the same between all vests. The standard vest size for the vast majority of people is the size designation S/M (even those who wear L/XL shirts). For those individuals who are much bigger in size (2 XL-3XL or higher shirt size) the L/XL vest adds 1 inch in length and 0.5 inch in width to the front and back garment panels. The purpose of the larger panel size is to better maintain the alignment of the pneumatic actuators with your body.
